I hope you are doing well.
As per server rules, a person cannot be cuffed or arrested without a valid IC reason, as doing so would fall under Fail RP.
In this situation, my friend (4201) and I were on duty when two SAHP rammed our Car. Following this, I was arrested for “Reckless Driving,” and 4201 was arrested for “Corruption.”
The stated reason for the corruption charge was that 4201 did not stop me (77765) while I was driving recklessly. However, ICly, this does not make any sense
as officers on duty are not bound by traffic laws. Because of this, the charge of corruption does not appear to be a valid IC crime.
I fully respect Frost’s decision and understand the argument that this could be considered an IC issue. That said, my concern was that the detention made was not based on a legit IC offense to begin with, and it felt more like an abuse of Bio rather than proper roleplay and if this is the case, we as corrupt bio holders can just go to people/cops and ram their car one time and place them under arrest.
