Bright Tyler's Life Story:
Bright Tyler was raised in a place away from all the noise of the city. She grew up thinking that if she worked hard and was patient everything would be okay.. Life showed her that this was not true. It was really tough for her to find opportunities. People made promises they did not keep.. When Bright Tyler needed help the system she believed in often did nothing to support her. Bright Tyler learned that life is not always fair. The system failed people, like Bright Tyler when they needed it the most.When she was very young, she learned how to remain invisible. She accomplished this by observing others, listening to what they had to say, and observing their behavior. She saw how people moved around how they spoke to each other and how they helped each other out. At first she did all of this just to survive.. Over time she started to really understand what was going on. Bright realized that being in charge does not always mean you have to be a boss or have a lot of money. Sometimes being in charge just means you have control over what people know when things happen and who is loyal, to you.
Her first steps, into the underground were not violent. She did things like run messages and arrange meetings for people who did not follow the rules. These people lived outside the rules. She also took care of their logistics.The underground people began to trust her over time. Because she kept her mouth shut and fulfilled her commitments, they had faith in her. The streets changed her. The underground made her a sharper person, a person and more deliberate. The streets and the underground shaped her into someone. The underground and its streets made her the person she is now the person she is today.
Bright Tyler became a gangster because the streets rewarded discipline, awareness, and resolve far more than honesty ever did, not because she was ambitious. She now moves purposefully and is aware of her exact position—she is no longer merely a citizen but rather someone who is aware of how the city actually functions.
