Life Story
When i started in this profession, i had no ideology. There was just a system and i was part of it over time i figured out how the system worked justice was a means not an end i dont make decisions based on emotion. files are examined risks are calculated and the outcome is chosen. Sometimes it is more efficient to let criminals go free. A released criminal is a controllable entity an arrested one is a cost. i dont take bribes i manage them. money is not an end for me it is a transactional element the real value lies in the people left indebted debt breeds obedience. My record is clean. my cases close not when they collapse, but when they quietly disappear. Statistics are balanced, superiors are satisfied, the city functions. Thats enough. Conscience is not measurable. Therefore, it has no place in my decision making process. i dont dispense justice. i optimize the system.
Career Story
i began my career as a standard patrol officer. i performed my duties according to instructions, flawlessly and quietly. i didnt draw attention to myself drawing attention is inefficient. in my early years i observed processes more than operational success which files were progressing quickly which were being held up which errors were being ignored thee system relied on repetition and this repetition was predictable. over time i took responsibility for reporting, evidence delivery, and case management. i implemented minor deviations. delivery times increased seemingly insignificant deficiencies were recorded as nonconformitiess Results were measured no backlash occurred thee practice was expanded. i gained decision making authority in mid level management thee long term effects of releasing instead of arresting were analyzed it was found that indebted criminals posed a lower risk. This method became standard.
