Dear Sir or Madam,
We would like to formally submit a complaint regarding the conduct of Johnson in his role as Deputy Administrator within the public Discord chat.
The situation initially concerned offensive statements made by another user. However, instead of a neutral, de-escalating, and role-appropriate response, several replies from Johnson followed which we consider to be disrespectful, condescending, and inappropriate for a senior administrative position.
In particular, the following points are concerning:
- a clearly dismissive and demeaning tone (e.g. statements such as “No one asked for your opinion”),
- the general dismissal of others’ right to participate in the discussion,
- as well as language that appeared threatening, such as “live with the consequences” and “THIS topic is now closed.”
Regardless of whether any rules were violated in substance, we expect a Deputy Administrator to communicate in a professional, factual, and de-escalating manner—especially in public channels. In our view, this standard was not met in this case.
This complaint is not intended to challenge administrative decisions or evade sanctions, but rather to address the manner of communication and to promote respectful, transparent, and professional administration.
