I am submitting this complaint against Ben Verstappen for an incorrect and unjustified rejection of my forum reported regarding the violation of GR 6.10. During an IA inspection i lawfully confiscated the illegal items from a vehicle trunks as part of my duty. After this IC situation, the car owner (Boruto Otsutsuki | 2485) contacted me through Discord direct message and began insulting me regarding the IC matter which was clearly shown in the evidence submitted for the forum, which was clear violation of GR 6.10 (Moving IC Situations to OOC - Insulting in Discord).
However, Ben Verstappen rejected the forum stating the reason : "Dm's as proofs are not accepted, Please Refer to the Rules for Filing a complaint, and file a new complaint."
according to the rules, valid reasons for a refusal to consider a forum are:
GR 6.10 States: It is prohibited to move IC situations to OOC(e.g Insulting someone in Discord Chat relating to an IC situation). Any instances of this will be punished in Discord as well as In-Game Bans.
The rule explicitly includes discord as a valid platform where violations can occur. It does not differentiate between server channels and private messages. Therefore, Discord DMs are valid proof for GR 6.10.
As for the validity of my proof. Screen recording of the insulting in my discord DM was present, Proof of the identity of the person from FIB Official Mails was proved. Screenshot showing the person inside the organization can be provided as well if needed. FIB Mail Logs were also shown to confirm the authenticity. Which clearly establishes the identity of sender, relation to the IC Situation and authentic and verifiable proof.
Thus, rejecting the report based on "Discord DMs are not accepted" is factually incorrect.
Kindly review and overturn the rejection, reopen my original GR 6.10 forum, apply punishment to the violating person and review Ben Verstappen's handling of this case and apply internal action if necessary.
Rules must be enforced based on their written wording. GR 6.10 clearly recognizes Discord as a platform for violations. Ignoring this undermines fair rule enforcement and admin credibility.
I respectfully request senior admin to review this matter.
