Hello,
I would like to address the application of Rule 3.2 in my case.
Rule 3.2 states: “Parents should not be mentioned in all chats, including voice.”
In the situation that led to my punishment, I did not mention anyone’s mother, father, or parents in any way. The word I used was “oğlum.”
In Turkish, “oğlum” literally translates to “my son,” but in daily speech it is widely used as a casual form of address, similar to “bro,” “man,” or “dude.” It does not refer to a real parent child relationship, nor does it mention or target someone’s parents.
The word does not contain any reference to mother, father, or family members. Therefore, applying Rule 3.2 (parental mention) in this situation appears to be a cultural misunderstanding.
If my language was considered disrespectful under another rule, I understand that. However, Rule 3.2 specifically concerns mentioning parents, which did not occur in this case.
I respectfully request a review of the punishment based on this clarification.
Note: You may verify this with any Turkish player or administrator. They can confirm that “oğlum” is commonly used as a casual form of address in Turkish and does not refer to someone’s parents. You may also consult language resources or AI tools, which will confirm the same explanation.
Thank you for your time.
Black Chanel.
