About the Party:
The Reformest is a political party that was formed on 12.8.2024 with a focus on developing the laws that are in place and adjusting old laws to the current city's needs.
Ideology:
Fix what is broken and strengthen what works. It might sound like simple wording, but fulfilling the promise is a task that takes passion and experience. For too long, we just passed down laws that have not been adjusted as thousands join our amazing city. We need a government that will listen to the people and put the work in.
Purpose:
To keep a working government to the end of the term and create a city where citizens can enjoy, feel safe, and be heard.
About the Candidate:
Nate Blakely, this will be my 9th term as a state leader. This will be a brief history of my leadership
Governor 1st and 2 term: My term was a 60-day GOV term, I was the third person in our city to ever do so. During that time, I completed 20+ public speeches and created 3 YouTube videos to promote RP. The Medkits at Humane Labs were at an all-time low, sitting at around 17k. I rallied all state orgs together, and by the time I left, we were 100k+. Conducted an IBR case, and my DOJ held a court case that had an audience of over 40+ citizens. I lowered the Gun License charge from 25k to 10k, and since then, it has hovered at $10-$15k. Create from scratch a new department called the DOE (Department of Education) focused on meeting new citizens at the hotel and getting them their first backpack, sim card, escorting them to the driver's license center, and teaching them terms so they don't get an early mute. I would also host 5 never been done before events to create new RP for not only my org but the entire city.
Lifeinvader 3rd term: I would do a 30-day term 2 weeks after my GOV term. Here, I would meet and encourage Nyx Kleps into LI leadership, she would then go on to be the deputy of LI for 8 months straight, mentoring new CEOs and defining LI for almost a year straight. I also created the ORG COMMUNICATION channel, which now stops LI from having to use DMs to set up security for events with LEOs, and organized the process while also making it easier for communication. Created new journalism templates and procedures that are still in use to this day.
Chief of LSPD (temp 8 days) term 4: During this time, I reworked the LSPD discord by getting rid of all the extra logs and getting rid of a few channels that had no use. I also created a new entry package for new officers with 3 training videos, a list of all events with location photos, which guns you can use at the events, and the legislation. Making sure that all officers knew how to do their job, no matter their learning style.
Governor (temp 6 days)5 term: Here I was brought in for a single purpose to help the admins train a new Governor; they were interested in Ava Marelli. I would mentor her, and then she became governor, for which I would be here as DG for a 30-day term. We focused on leadership training, which was a fun new way and what would become my game style for a while, just helping and mentoring the next generation of leaders of our city.
SAHP Sheriff 6th term: This term, I went nuts. I wanted to rebrand the SAHP public image, and in my mind for a moment, we did. I reworked the whole SAHP system, getting rid of all the departments and simplifying it to four. We focused on gathering information at events, traffic (getting radar checkpoints), HR, and IA. We became known as one of the most professional SAHP teams to date, completing a successful 44-store robbery week. We would also grow to an org size larger than FIB and LSPD. We fought against two terrorist orgs Familys and Bloods. It was one of the most trial-by-fire terms I had, but it was also where I felt like I did the most change. I focused on simple things and was strict about coaching, training, and how to be a proper cop. Even working with NG to run practice pit maneuvering drills and stun gun take down at their base. I'd also run and coordinate joint org practice runs on how to fight the ever-growing gang activity. By the time it ended, this is one of the terms I was most proud of. We made it simple, focused on quality, and did a good job!
Lifeinvader term 7 and 8: This was an amazing term, mostly thanks to my wonderful and amazing curators. We worked as a team and got some huge goals accomplished. Creating a new way to allow LI journalism to use their PDA just like LEOs to create a valid bodycam to make sure all articles contain the truth and could back it up in court. New journalism logs to allow HC to track daily activity instead of just waiting for articles or videos to be finished. A discord channel that was called “Photo Gallery”, which is a CNN valid stock photo channel that all future journalists and creative team members can use if they aren't great at taking photors are too new to have any. I also got approval from all chiefs in EN 1, EN 2, and EN 3 to be able to do a christmas cross over episode, which would have been the first in the history of grand but EN 2 had family problems and weren't able to help us finish it. I was able to share and collect new ideas, templates, and video assets to add for my team, which will now create the strongest LI across all three cities.
Objectives:
1. A new DOJ system that helps new lawyers with the steep learning curve and makes it an easier time learning and progressing their careers.
2. Reinstating the Department of Education.
3. A DOC Department call law that will limit/stop corrupt officers from never arriving at the DOC with a 10-15.
4. A system that all ORGs can agree to for NG Ammo drops, so no one runs out of ammo.
5. USSS and EMS weekend high activity joint security system to help stop trolls and harassment of our doctors while increasing the RP for USSS.
6. Finish 60 days.
Campaign Promises:
1. To be a leader who is fair and logical. There to solve problems, not start them.
2. Better coordination with all state orgs as a team instead of as individual orgs.
3. We are here to listen and to fix. In that order.
4. To use my experience to help new state leaders and others in solving problems and developing their orgs or careers.
