Hello Lebron,
First of all, I would like to say that I have been part of this project for a very long time and was myself an admin until recently. I have committed very few rule violations in the past and would like to make it clear that I have never intentionally broken any rules.
Now to my case. I had been looking for a black Lui Vi top for almost a year and, to be honest, there is no one selling one.
On December 14 at 8:59 p.m., a good friend wrote to me on Discord that someone was now selling a black Lui Vi top because it had been won from Famwar. At 9:10 p.m., I wrote to this person (Mia Unexpected) to ask how much she wanted for the top, and then I made her an exchange offer (white Lui Vi top + pink Lui Vi pants from the new collection). She declined the offer because she needed the money to pay her members, so I asked her what price she had in mind. She gave me a starting offer of $460,000,000, so I figured we were in that range and that it would be a legitimate price. Being a dealer, I negotiated the price down to $425,000,000, which I thought was a fair price. At around 11:20 p.m., I sold my white Lui Vi top and my pink Lui Vi pants and immediately bought the top. The next day, I was banned for General Rule 1.7.
The new market value feature allows you to see how much an item is worth, but there is no market value for the black Lui Vi top because it is extremely rare.
I would therefore like to clarify that I did not intentionally violate the rules, because it is extremely difficult to determine a price for such a rare item and because the seller suggested the price to me and I therefore believed that it was a legitimate price for the item.
I know that ignorance does not protect me from punishment, but I have been supporting this project for years and have committed few rule violations during my long time on this server.
Sincerely
Pierre Xabat
