Hello,
I am respectfully appealing my recent GR 1.7 ban.
I purchased a pair of Blu Lui Vi pants from a beach market stall for approximately 2–3 million. At the time, I was unaware the item’s value was around 20 million and did not understand that this situation fell under GR 1.7. I had no prior relationship with the seller and believed the rule mainly applied to intentional gifting or value transfers between known players.
After attempting to resell the item, the original seller and his associates began contacting me repeatedly. I received a high volume of IC calls and messages, and even after changing my number, the situation extended OOC through Discord. The constant contact and escalation across platforms became increasingly frustrating and overwhelming to deal with. In an attempt to handle the situation properly, I asked a GOD IC whether I had done anything wrong and was advised to ignore it (screenshots available).
I later saw a Discord conversation indicating that this may have been a GR 1.7 violation. I contacted Jonny directly for clarification and was informed that it was indeed a rule break. Once I understood this, I was prepared to return the item.
In our IC messages, the other player stated that it was not about the money and that he wanted to “work out a deal,” which is visible in the screenshots. Because of this, I believed we were negotiating a resolution rather than strictly reversing the transaction. Frustrated with how the situation had escalated, I asked for 5 million instead of the original 2–3 million I paid. I understand now that this was the wrong approach and that it further complicated the matter.
I informed him to give me 15 minutes so we could meet IC to resolve the issue, but I was banned during that time. I can also see that the other player has submitted an appeal. If given the opportunity, I am confident we can resolve this properly between us by reversing the transaction in a way that aligns with server rules.
I acknowledge my mistake and take responsibility for how I handled the situation. I should have clarified the rule immediately and responded more calmly. I have never received a warning before, actively contribute within GOV, and genuinely enjoy playing on this server. I respectfully ask for reconsideration and the opportunity to correct this by returning the item for the original purchase value.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
