Backstory:
Yakuza is co-led by two tried and tested members of the Families gang in Los Santos. Having been high ranking in the Families for a long time, the leaders decided they wanted to be more than just a gang. Hence, the goal of the family is to produce strong individuals in both legal organisations and illegal organisations, and to become a force to be reckoned with.
Yakuza started as a group of close, like-minded individuals who all had high goals and motivation in Japan. As the leaders were not of Japanese background and the top 3 yakuza were too big, their efforts to start their very own yakuza in Japan was not able to reach its full potential. The family then moved to Los Santos, deciding to bring over a modified version of the Japanese Yakuza out of admiration.
The name Yakuza is taken from the Japanese word for “gang”, as the leaders believe in loyalty to the family and respect for higher ranks that Japanese gangs live by. Together with the name, Yakuza adopts the code of conduct that Japanese mafia follow, with a few alterations, which are mainly:
- Treat everyone in the family, and family members of family with respect
- No in-fighting
- Act respectfully in public, so as not to tarnish Yakuza’s reputation
- Do not involve the new citizens
Yakuza does not judge people for their backgrounds, and accept anyone who is willing to follow the family rules and code of conduct. We welcome people without a family to call us home, and will fight back against anyone who threatens it.
Within a couple days of becoming a family, we have already acquired a family plantation, and a business, and aim to acquire much more.
Even though a new family, Yakuza has big goals, which are:
- Housing and producing strong leaders in legal organisations
- Housing and producing strong leaders in illegal organisations
- Getting businesses/wealth (and engaging in all activities that would give us wealth)
- Recruiting all that need a place to call home/their family
- Becoming one of the best families

Ranking System - each rank is directly senior to the rank directly below in a chain of command type system (Except 9 and 10):
Rank 1 - Midget: Learning our ways and activities and are new
Rank 2 - Pee Wee: Knows basic things about the gang
Rank 3 - Junior: Soldiers of the family. Reliable in events.
Rank 4 - Senior: Fight sub-leads. Good shooters, and good at controlling a couple of lower ranks.
Rank 5 - War Chief: Fight leads. Able to lead events under the command of Warlords.
Rank 6 - Warlord: Managers (event, business, etc.) Able to lead, organise, and carry out plans for events/businesses.
Rank 7 - Left Hand Man: Good leaders who assist Right Hand Man in their duties.
Rank 8 - Right Hand Man: Deputies
Rank 9 - Boss Man: Leader
Rank 10 - Boss Lady: Leader
