I believe I have been dealt an unjustified punishment.
In this uploaded video (had issues uploading the video to YT, chose another platform), I'm chasing a family member, we were having a playful brawl and jestering.
An unknown person decided to interfere while I was chasing this family member, this unknown person decided to first run me over with his car, by this initiating an issue. I stood up after this, ignored it and continued chasing the family member. The person decided to escalate the situation and started shooting towards me. I again ignored it even though there is an active shootout against me and continued running, the person continues to follow me and at this point I decided to defend myself and shoot him. I did not manage to kill him, the person started ciruclating the building I was hiding on. Eventually I managed to kill him.
This event resulted in firstly jail time and then immediately after, a ban. Which left me confused.
I'm appealing this ban for I find it to be inconsistent with the supposed rule break as I was not the one that started this issue nor escalated it into a shootout, I merely decided to defend myself after the fact that the shootout was already live and felt like there probably was no way around this without defending myself in case I want to live.
