Title: Complaint Against Officer for Possible Powergaming – Request for POV Review
Server: EN3
Complainant ID: 157904
Description of the Situation:
Hello Dear Administration Team,
I would like to report an incident that happened to me at the Government Building and request the administration to review the actions of the officers involved.
I arrived at the Government Building in order to change my name. As it usually happens, players are required to take permission from the officer standing outside the main entrance before entering the building. When I approached the officers there, I interacted normally and followed their instructions.
One of the officers, Player ID 138992, asked me to show my passport and license. I cooperated and showed my passport immediately as requested. However, the officer did not ask me to remove my mask, which I believe is normally part of the identification process.
After I showed my passport, Player ID 138992 searched me without clearly explaining the reason for the search and then instantly arrested me, assuming that I had illegal items in my inventory. During this situation, I was not given a proper opportunity to explain or respond before the arrest happened, which felt unusual in a roleplay situation.
It is true that I had an illegal item (a lockpick) in my inventory that I received earlier from the daily login reward. I understand that illegal items can be confiscated according to the rules, and I accept that if it was handled correctly. However, my concern is mainly about how the situation was handled in terms of roleplay interaction.
Another officer, Player ID 150924, was also present at the location, but his voice communication was unclear and buffering, which made it difficult for me to understand what he was saying during the interaction.
There was also Player ID 166365 present at the scene, but I am not sure whether he was an officer or just a civilian nearby, as his role in the situation was unclear.
Later, an FBI officer, Player ID 73306, arrived and interacted in the situation. He mentioned that he would search me later, and at one point he also checked the IDs of the other officers present. This part of the interaction can be seen in the POV that I have provided.
Eventually, my illegal item was seized, which may be correct depending on the rules. However, the arrest and search felt rushed, and I believe the situation may involve Powergaming, as actions were taken without giving me a proper chance to respond or participate in the roleplay interaction.
I am not completely certain whether Fail RP applies here, which is why I am submitting this complaint so the administration can review the situation properly.
Possible Rule Violations:
Powergaming – Actions such as searching and arresting were performed quickly without allowing proper RP interaction or response.
(Possibly) Fail RP – Lack of clear roleplay explanation or procedure before the arrest.
Players Involved:
Officer who searched and arrested me:
Player ID 138992
Officer with unclear voice communication:
Player ID 150924
Person present at the scene (role unknown, possibly civilian):
Player ID 166365
FBI Officer who later interacted in the situation:
Player ID 73306
Request to Administration:
I respectfully request the administration to:
Review the POV that I have provided
Request POV from the involved officers
Check whether any rule violations occurred
I am submitting this complaint respectfully so the administration can review the situation and make a fair decision.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
