I am writing to appeal a 60-day ban I received yesterday evening. I have only been playing the game for about a week and was enjoying the trucking experience when I was suddenly teleported by an admin.
The admin requested a Discord screen share to inspect my system, including Task Manager and the NVIDIA Control Panel. During the inspection, I was asked about my peripherals. I use an AOC GM500 mouse and a I am using a normal keyboard. During the screen share, I showed the mouse driver as requested. Shortly after the inspection, I was banned for "macro usage."
I would like to clarify that while my mouse hardware has macro capabilities as a built-in feature, I was not using any macros to gain an unfair advantage in the game. As a new player, I was unaware that simply having the driver software installed or owning a multi-button mouse could be seen as a violation.
I am a new member of this community and my intention was never to cheat or break the rules. I kindly request you to review my case and consider lifting or shortening the ban, as this was a genuine misunderstanding. I am happy to provide any further information or follow any necessary steps to prove my fair play.
