IMPORTANT Government Party Application Requirements

To apply as a political party for Government, the following information must be provided:

1. Party & Member Information​

• Full details about the party, its members (County Commissioners), and all candidates, including their ID numbers.
• A complete list of party members containing at least 20 unique County Commissioners.
  • All members must sign IC.
  • A member cannot sign for multiple parties during the same election cycle.

2. Party Program​

• A written party program containing:
  • Ideology
  • Purpose
  • Objectives
  • Pre‑election promises
• A minimum of 4 campaign promises is required.
• The program must not be AI‑generated.

3. Additional Requirements​

• Party slogan and logo
• Date of party creation
• Clear criteria for becoming a party member

The submitted member list will be used throughout the election process to ensure compliance with all Election Rules. These are the individuals who will be monitored and held accountable during the elections.

Mandatory Positions to Be Filled​

Each of the following positions must be filled with signed party members:

• Governor
• Vice Governor (maximum of 2)
• Attorney General
• USSS Director
• Head of IRS

Election Process After Application Approval​

1. Parties enter a campaign period, with duration set by Government Curators.
2. Party leaders participate in a public debate.
3. Elections are held the day after the debate—always on a Thursday.
4. All citizens of Los Santos may vote at the Capitol building.
5. Voting closes at 21:00, after which Government Curators count the votes.
6. Within 24 hours of the election results, the elected party’s members are appointed as County Commissioners.
7. County Commissioners vote to confirm the 5 key Government positions.
8. The elected Governor undergoes a short OOC interview with Government Curators before being officially appointed.
9. If the Governor fails the interview, County Commissioners must vote again to select a new candidate.
10. Once the 5 key positions are confirmed, a 48‑hour transition period begins between the outgoing and incoming Government.
11. The Government remains active at all times; the 5 key positions may be replaced at any moment through internal voting by County Commissioners.
12. After 30 days, Government applications reopen. The current Government remains in power until a new party applies and the next campaign and election cycle begins.
