Do you have any mods installed (like graphic mods, Redux, Reshade, etc.)?

If yes: Please uninstall them completely and test again. If no, please try the following steps one by one. Since your game crashes exactly when hitting animals (hitmarkers/particles) and when returning to the city (reloading textures), this is usually caused by DirectX issues or corrupted server files in combination with AMD cards:

1. Clear the Windows DirectX Shader Cache
Since you aren't using the AMD software, Windows is managing your cache. If the cached file for bullet impacts is corrupted, your game will crash the moment you hit something.
  • Press the Windows key, type Disk Cleanup and open it.
  • Select your C: drive.
  • Check the box for DirectX Shader Cache (you can uncheck everything else) and click OK to delete it.
2. Switch to DirectX 10.1 (if you want)
  • Boot up the normal GTA V Singleplayer (not RAGE MP).
  • Go to Settings -> Graphics.
  • Change the DirectX Version from DX11 to DX10.1 (or 10). This often prevents particle-related crashes.
  • Set Particle Quality to Normal and Tessellation to Off. Save the settings and close GTA.
3. Reload RAGE MP Server Files
Even if you reinstalled RAGE, old server files often get left behind. If the specific script for animal interactions is corrupted, it will crash your game.
  • Go to your RAGE MP installation folder.
  • Delete the entire folder named client_resources.
  • The next time you connect, the server will freshly download all the necessary files.
4. Verify GTA V Game Files Open your launcher (Steam/Epic/Rockstar) and verify the integrity of your game files. If even a tiny audio file for an animal hit sound is missing or corrupt, the game will crash.

If these things are not working reach out to me in this thread again.
