Dear GrandRP Support Team,
I would like to ask for a review of my recent punishment (180 minutes admin jail) for alleged Random Deathmatch, because I believe the situation was misunderstood.
The incident happened on the highway near the military base. My friend and I were stranded after losing our car and were waiting for a taxi or help from our family. While we were standing there, a person in a sports car came to us and kept driving around us over and over again. His behavior felt very suspicious, as he kept getting close to us and watching us. It was very provocative behavior of him. And well, because of that, we thought he might have bad intentions. So we took out our weapons and clearly told him multiple times (around 3–5 times) to leave the area or we would shoot. I also gave a final countdown before shooting, so it was very clear what would happen. My friend (ID: 171300) can confirm that he also gave several warnings before I did. There were many shot calls, it was NOT Random Death Match
Even after all these chances, the person did not leave. We shot at him, but he had bulletproof glass, so we didnt kill him, and we ran around a little in the same area. But he just kept circling around us with his car, and following us. When he finally got out of the car, I shot immediately because the situation had already escalated and we felt threatened.
Important points:
* We gave multiple clear warnings before shooting. There were many chances, and cleary enough shotcalls. My friend already warned him even many time before i did. He had enough chances to leave but decided to stay.
* His behavior felt like he was trying to provoke a reaction.
I also want to mention that the person involved was reportedly the same admin who gave me the jail. From my point of view, this feels unfair and raises concerns about possible bias, especially since the situation felt like baiting. Also, i didn't see any evidence for his jail towards me, and there were no clips to confirm that, or clarify it towards me.
In addition, it was said in the admin response (from the same admin / guy who jailed me) that I shot between warnings, which is not true. I only shot after giving several warnings and a final countdown. Again, my friend is proof.
Additional Notes:
I would also like to point out some concerns regarding the admin’s behavior during this situation:
* The admin mentioned my friend’s name directly, which should not be possible or allowed. (We never seen this guy before, and my friend did NOT tell him that, and he also did NOT shake any hands or anything, he could NOT have know the name of my friend. He is clearly abusing admin rights.)
* My friend was wearing a mask at the time, so his identity should not have been known at all, even if he would have somehow known the name of my friend (which he clearly not did).
* This appears to be a double rule break regarding identity/meta information.
* Additionally, as far as I know, admins should not be in admin mode while actively participating in roleplay situations like this.
Because of this, I believe the situation should be reviewed more carefully.
And for these reasons, I kindly ask you to review this situation again and remove the punishment, as I believe this was not Random Deathmatch.
I have putet some Screenshots below of the admin chat, were he says "that i would have shot during those calls".
Also the ID of my friend again: "171300".
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Sincerely,
Rainer Wingler
