Dear Administration,
I am writing to appeal my 60-day ban for General Rule 1.9.
I want to explain the situation from my perspective as the person who transferred the vehicle. My friend (ID: 170027 ]) recently joined the server to play with me. I had an extra car worth about $800k that I wasn't using anymore, and I simply wanted to give it to him as a gift so he would have a way to get around the city and enjoy the game with me.
Because we are close friends and I just wanted to help him out, I sold it to him for the minimum price allowed by the script. At the time, I truly did not realize that this was considered "Tax Evasion" or a violation of Rule 1.9. I thought that since it was my property, I could give it to whoever I liked. I want to clarify that I did not receive any money "under the table," through crypto, or via any other method for this car. It was 100% a gift between friends.
I am very sorry for this mistake. It was never my intention to bypass the server's systems or hurt the economy. We were just two friends trying to play together. I have since re-read the rules carefully and I now understand that even gifts must be handled through the proper price scripts to ensure the state tax is paid.
I am asking for your mercy and forgiveness. We have both worked hard for our belongings and we really don't want to lose our progress over a genuine misunderstanding. I promise that this will never happen again.
