Hello, I would like to appeal the decision and provide some additional context.
I fully acknowledge that I broke the rules and that how I handled the situation was wrong, and I'm not trying to avoid responsibility for that I understand that my actions can be considered power gaming, and I'm willing to accept punishment. However, I feel the situation presented in the report does not reflect what actually happened.
The clip that was submitted only shows a small portion of the entire interaction and leaves out all the parts where the player was repeatedly trolling, refusing to cooperate, and attacking me multiple times for no reason whenever I tried to move and process him properly.
I also want to highlight that the player was repeatedly punching me for no clear reason, particularly every time I uncuffed him. I will provide the clips that showed this behavior and I'm happy to provide them from my perspective, it feels unfair that this repeated rule breaking behavior wasn't addressed and although my reaction was wrong I think it's unfair that I'm penalized, i'm still very new to the server only a couple days in and I'm actively trying to learn the rules of roleplay on this server.
In this case, I let frustration get the better of me after dealing with ongoing disruption, which led to my mistake. That's on me and I accept that.
That said, I do feel the punishment is quite harsh, given the lack of full context and my status as a new player who is trying to engage properly. I'd really appreciate it if the situation could be reviewed with the full evidence in mind, and if my punishment could be reconsidered.
