Life Story:
Ricco Navarro was born in Madrid, Spain. His parents moved to Spain hoping for a better life, but things never really worked out. Ricco’s father was involved in criminal activities and illegal business, because of problems with police and other criminals he was rarely home and always staying low profile. Ricco mostly grew up with his mother.
His mother lived mostly from government support and struggled to take care of everything alone. Money was always a problem in the house and sometimes they barely had enough for food or bills. Since young age Ricco tried helping his mother however he could. Growing up in rough neighborhoods, he was surrounded by gangs, violence and drugs almost everyday.
As teenager Ricco started hanging around wrong people and old contacts of his father. He learned quickly how street life worked and how money and power controlled many things. To help his mother, Ricco sometimes made money in bad ways and learned how to survive difficult situations.
When Ricco was 18, one of his close friends died during a robbery gone wrong. This changed Ricco alot and made him think different about his future. Wanting better opportunities and fresh start, Ricco moved to Los Santos at age of 20.
Career Story:
After moving to Los Santos, Ricco joined the Los Santos Police Department because he wanted stable life and wanted to make his mother proud. In the beginning Ricco was serious officer, followed rules and enjoyed helping people.
After some time Ricco started noticing officers abusing power and criminals avoiding punishments because of money. Slowly he lost faith in justice system. Seeing corruption around him made Ricco think differently, especially remembering how hard life was for him and his mother.
