Dear Senior Admin Team,

I am submitting this complaint regarding the handling of an administration request by Admin Rich Zainn and the guidance that was provided to me.

I contacted Admin Rich Zainn to ask a straightforward question regarding whether heavy weapons, such as the Heavy Shotgun, are permitted during Clands events. My intention was to receive a clear clarification of the rules so that I could avoid violating any server regulations.

As shown in the attached screenshot, Admin Rich Zainn responded by stating that if the script allows the weapon, then it can be used. When I asked for further clarification regarding whether the script actually allows it, I was instructed to enter the event while holding the weapon and check whether the script permits me to shoot.

My concern is that this response did not answer the question that was asked. I was not asking whether the script technically permits the weapon; I was asking whether the weapon is allowed according to the event rules.

A clear example of why this distinction is important is the Harbour event. During Harbour, certain weapons may be technically usable because the script allows them. However, players can still receive punishment for using those weapons because they are restricted by the event rules. This demonstrates that script functionality and server rules are not always the same thing.

Due to this, the guidance provided by Admin Rich Zainn creates uncertainty for players. If a player follows such advice, uses a weapon because the script permits it, and later receives punishment because the rules prohibit it, the player is the one who bears the consequences despite having contacted administration beforehand for clarification.

I respect Admin Rich Zainn and the position he holds within the administration team. This complaint is not intended as a personal attack. However, I believe that when players contact administration seeking rule clarification, they should receive a direct and definitive answer regarding the rules rather than being instructed to test the script themselves.

For these reasons, I respectfully request that this situation be reviewed and that clearer rule clarification be provided to players in similar situations in the future.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
