Celestia grew up in a family that looked perfect, from the outside, they had a big mansion and a lot of money, also a last name everyone knew, anyone looking into her family would think they have everything figured out, but inside it was very different, it was a disaster, her dad was super successful and everyone liked him but at home he would turn into a totally different person, his instant mood swings made everyone in the house and the house itself feel tense, the whole family learned to stay quiet and to stay out of his way, nobody ever talked about what happened at home because their appearance mattered more than the truth, Celestia figured out very fast that love came with rules so saying something usually made it worse not better, she got real good at reading people even as a child, she always knew what mood her dad was in before he said a single word. guests would show up and she would smile like nothing was wrong, but in reality, everything was wrong, deep down all she really wanted was for people to be honest about who they are, maybe thats why she kept trusting the wrong people, by the time she left for university she already knew the one big lesson her family taught her without meaning to, money and fame can cover up almost anything, rules stop mattering so much once you have enough of both.

Celestia didnt join the FIB because of her pursuit for justice or her trust in the system, it was just the kind of job her family liked bragging about at dinner, it sounded nice and looked good next to the family name, for a while she actually believed in the work, and she was even good at it, she was sharp, fast thinking, and friendly enough that people didnt think she was a threat, but the more cases she worked the more it all started to feel familiar, rich people getting away with stuff that would of ruined her way too much of growing up, at some point she stopped wanting to fight the system and started wondering what it would be like to just take a piece of the cake instead of fighting it, the money helped sure, but that wasnt really the point, she wanted power that was hers, money that was hers, not her dads or familys, she still closes her cases, she still looks like the perfect agent when people are watching, but underneath that she is building something a lot quiter, one favor here, one bribe there, one person who owes her something, she tells herself that she earned it, after all, the people who were supposed to protect her never really did.
