Rejected Player kills me while I was doing on part-time job

I was trying to finish up level 2 electrician job, I was going to the power station that was close to the vinewood sign. On the way there I noticed a player riding in a motorcycle and was going to the same location I was going. When I got the station, the player was hiding behind cover and as I got closer to the breaker box, he killed me in two shotgun shots.

i dont understand why players play like this. should go play gta online if they just want to kill people who want to mind there own buisnessss
