Good evening,
My apologies for the initial incorrect title format again... It also appears there's potentially several types of punishments that applied: Demorgen & warn at the least.
I feel the decision made in my absence was made hastily with only limited details regarding accusations of FearRP, Stalling, and PG. I would like to request appeal onthe following grounds. Acknowledging there were likely missteps on all parties involved.
I have attached the given "Body Cam" footage of the entirety of the incident, in contradiction to the "proof" provided by the accusing party which starts POST initial contact.
1. I would like to highlight inital location of investigation was provided via SAHP radio while arriving on scene. Note #1
2. Initial call for backup was made at the 26:00 Mark in the proof video (BEFORE accusing parties exited their vehicle)
3. Opposing players appear in vehicle at high rate of speed at the 25:46 mark. In the Number 2 Lane
4. Opposing players strike barrier at high rate of speed @ 25:48, showing clear intent to ram the patrol car. In violation of the rules.
5. At 25:59, I initiate request for backup, we had just declined backup, but then requested upon observing suspect behavior and number of occupants.
6. I drew a weapon at 26:06 Prior to any demand to surrender, in addition to most occupents were just starting to exit the vehicle.
6a. I subsequently struggled with the controls to actually put the weapon away.
7. I called for support at 26:16, a demand for no radio was made roughly that same time. In addition, Real world experience (Running EMS for 5+ years, panic buttons would be hit 100% of the time at this point. IRL these radios then hot mic and transmit GPS coordinates continuously to dispatch) Keep in mind, this is only 16 seconds AFTER already having called in backup. These buttons require a single finger to activate, very common to be activated accidentally as they exist next to the volume knobs.
8. Very clear by 26:20 I was attempting to comply with every demand made by the aggressors. (despite weapons flip flopping, I was struggling with the commands & delayed animations made me think it wasn't being put away so I hit another button.)
9. After the global call from the PDA went out, I made 0 radio transmissions despite other SAHP requesting status, in compliance of the aggressor commands.
10. The UI is still quite new to me, I complied, but it legitimately took a few moments to find what they demanded and how to comply. This was by no means intentional stalling, power gaming, or metagaming.
it would seem that several rules were broken in regards to this incident so I politely request that the ruling be overturned. For example, rule: 6.16 states the aggressors should have been in 2 vehicles, with 2 people per vehicle, but none the less, 2 vehicles, they were in only 1.
Aggressors clearly attempted to ram the patrol car at high rate of speed, IRL, this would have incapacitated all occupants.
Rule 5.7 of Rules for State states that SAHP are allowed to request ALL forces for support in the event they are attacked.
Note 1: It appears GeForce Experience did not capture the full audio as my headset is counted as several audio devices.
Note 2: Many of my actions were driven by various real life experiences running as a first responder and doing search and rescue (Generally underwater aka Mr. Diver) So none of my actions would, in my mind constitute a "FearRP" response. Factually, we actually DIDN'T respond entirely appropriately to the real world scenario. Two Troopers, who arguably had the upper hand, would have drawn on and shot at aggressors exiting the vehicle with rifles.
