Hello,
I was banned for rule 6.17 (using OBS to record). This was entirely my mistake, as I was completely unaware OBS was not an approved recording device. I would like to appeal this ban for the following reasons -
I recognize it was my negligence that led to me using OBS. I don't typically use a bodycam in the city, and use OBS when I stream to twitch for other video games. Because I had players ramming our car out of a green zone to steal it, I quickly opened my OBS as it was my only recording device currently installed on my computer and recorded a quick 20 second clip to grab their IDs and file a forum. If I was aware that OBS was not allowed I would never done this in the first place. I apologize sincerely, and will be certain to never use OBS again now that I am aware.
I have recently invested over $1,900 (USD) into Grand Coins to start a family, with intentions to invest more. I used this money to buy a house, buy family cars, and establish the family. With a 30 day ban, my investment will be completely depleted and I will lose everything. This was not at all a malicious use of OBS, it was simply a misunderstanding on my part and I sincerely apologize. It would be a tremendous amount to me if I could get this ban removed and have it instead treated as a final warning. I will also immediately find out what approved body cam softwares there are and install it on my PC for future use. I will ensure to record the entirety of any and all events, and never use OBS moving forward.
