Additional information

1. Leader of National Guard

2. Why do you want to be a leader of this specific organization? (List three reasons with an explanation)

Real life leadership in the military. I spent over 6 years in the active duty in the US Army where I attained the rank of Captain. I have experience with military operations and leading military units. I am well versed in technical documentation / regulations / and field manuals, and this experience will allow me to lead the National Guard in a very RP manner.

Improvement. I am looking to improve the quality of RP with the National Guard. IRL, I am a software engineer, and with these skills I can bring to the table additional tooling to add to the RP within the national guard. For instance, I could write some software to more accurately simulate personnel operations (assignments/promotions/evaluations/key development positions) to add to the RP within the national guard.

Networking. I wish to use the position to get to learn about fellow RPers and, maybe even help develop and mentor them in terms of improving upon their real life leadership/communication and management skills.

3. Your advices for improving Roleplay level in organization.

I mentioned a bit of this in my second point in the above paragraph, but I feel like my experience as both a Captain in a real active duty service coupled with being a software engineer in my current career, allows me the ability to write software that provides a more in-depth RP experience within the National Guard. In addition to what I mentioned above, I can teach our officers how to plan, organize and lead with the different leadership styles appropriate to both company grade and field grade officers, AND I can help develop more refined tracking of our schools and training opportunities for our junior NCOs and senior NCO leadership. In addition, I think we can create awesome looking personnel jackets to show off awards we attain from our time in service within the National Guard.

All of these are great ideas, but they're nothing without the ability to properly plan the implementation of such. A vision is nothing without the ability to see an "end-state" and know how to take "current-state" TO that desired "end-state". Utilizing my experience with military planning, I can teach my officers how to create detailed roadmaps in a phased approach for vastly improving the RP within the National Guard.

I look forward to hearing back.
