This application has been completely remade and will now be more detailed and extensive to help give an idea of who I am and what I plan on doing with the LSPD. Hope you enjoy reading about what I can bring to the LSPD!

[INTRODUCTION]
Hello! I am planning on being the future leader of the LSPD, and I believe that this thread may give you some ideas as of why. I can definitely learn from others and, who knows, maybe they can learn from me, too. I can contribute a fair bit of experience (from about 8 years of law enforcement roleplay experience) to the LSPD, and I also believe that my hard working and open minded attitude is a leading factor in why I have been successful in other departments and divisions in the past - with no exception here. The constant mindset to keep going and try my best at all times is what I pride myself on - it is also very important to be consistent with your own personal values, as they really do assist you in the long run. If you decide to choose me as the LSPD leader, I will be glad to listen to every single person who sends a DM to me with suggestions, employment positions and anything else that is on their minds. I appreciate you for reading this, and I hope you see the same vision I do for the Los Santos Police Department within Grand Roleplay. I have fully come to terms with the fact that this may not be an easy job to do, however, I believe the experience I am about to list may give you some closure on why I have the ability to come up and apply for a position such as this.
[EXPERIENCE]
• Grand RP Department of Corrections - Corrections Officer (Within this job, I met many new people who shared some knowledge with me and I was fully acquainted with the prison system within Grand RP and how everything operated on both sides - both the law and the law breakers)
• Grand RP Emergency Medical Services - First Responder (In this job role I was able to bring forth my opinion and change some things within the department by giving structured suggestions to the high command members)
• Grand RP Los Santos Police Department - Police Officer III (During my time as a patrol officer in the streets of Los Santos, I realised that prioritising the safety of civilians over events was sometimes crucial for community relations)
• Hidden Society RP California LASD - Captain (As a Captain in the LASD within this RP server, I learned how to supervise on a greater scale and adapt to a larger jurisdiction than what I was previously used to within the LAPD)
• Hidden Society RP California LAPD - Lieutenant (As a Lieutenant in the LAPD I learned the importance of making sure all members of the community felt they had a say in how a police department operated, and also gave me a look inside of what it was like to be a high command member)
• Distant Society RP NYPD - Chief (As a Chief within the NYPD in this RP server, I learned how to teach officers how to police in a more dense and alley-ridden environment - in comparison to Los Angeles/Los Santos which is much more open and has less of those tight, dangerous spaces in urban areas)
• Grand RP SAHP - Senior Trooper (As a Senior Trooper in the SAHP, I learned the importance of always having backup units to protect you from being kidnapped and to be useful as an extra set of eyes when patrolling the highway)
• Hidden Society RP California Highway Patrol - Assistant Chief (As the Assistant Chief of a very large agency within this RP server, I learned how to correctly disperse units across a large area to ensure the entire state was getting a good service)
• Detroit RP DPD - Captain / Head Detective (As the leader of multiple investigations, I was shown how to correctly gather evidence and taught about many case laws which I had never heard of before)
• Atlanta Roleplay - Chief of Police (As the Chief of a growing community's police force, I was shown how much things can change purely by public unrest. The simple shooting of a person, even if justified, can spark a huge public outcry - and for that, I responded with better training for my Officers. Safe to say, it worked, and I have been using the same techniques since)
• CIA Roleplay RP - Team Leader (As a team leader, I was shown the importance of respect, comradery and teamwork being the number one priority at all times)
• Red County Roleplay RCSO - Deputy Sheriff II (As a Deputy within this server, I was shown the true extensiveness of text roleplay and loved every moment of it. It was such a contrast to the usual city environment I was used to, so I was given some knowledge on how to police a more rural setting)
• ProGamerNetwork SAHP - Senior Trooper (As a Trooper within the infamous jmwfilms server, I was given a look into the true spectacle of voice RP - with some players being voice actors, only making the experience more immersive. So, how does this tie in with Grand RP? Throughout my time in this server, I was able to comfortably roleplay traffic stops, domestic violence calls and even alien sightings all to the same degree of realism. This is a very hard skill to master, so I owe it all to the experiences I had in that community which I hope to bring over to this one)
• Carolina State Roleplay CSHP - Master Trooper (Similar to the PGN SAHP, voice RP was very prioritised here so I was forced to truly put myself into the eyes of my character when performing various tasks as a CSHP Trooper)
• San Andreas County Roleplay BCSO - Sergeant (One of my first voice RP based leadership positions, I was able to supervise my Deputies using my past experience and teach them how to do various things on the job - which was an excellent feeling and something I wish to do in Grand RP as an LSPD leader)
If I had to list all my experiences I would be here all day (as it goes back into the 2014s and earlier) however, I believe this is enough to show that I mean business here! I genuinely want to reshape the LSPD into something great, and I need your help to do that. I also have real life police related experience, however, I don't believe that is relevant here. However, I would be perfectly happy to discuss this in the interview stage.
[WHY SHOULD YOU PICK ME AS LEADER?]
Despite the fact I have been here for about 6 months now, I may be an unfamiliar face in this community to some. However, I hope to impress you with the knowledge and experience on high command, and policing in general, I truly have. I will make sure to listen to what every single one of you says - replying to EVERY DM no matter how small the issue is. I truly believe that I can work with all of you to make a realistic and admirable police force that even the Project Management could have a double take looking at. Within the LSPD, I plan on creating an efficient hiring system (as I have done before) and ensuring that, whilst no recruit's time is wasted, they are well versed and well trained on everything they need to know to be out on the streets of the central city. This will include a short period of training (most likely will be 3 phases, each phase going over a separate topic) with a final exam at the end to make sure that they have learned everything they need to know. I will be taking one idea from the EMS - the call rotas. In the Los Santos Police Department, to ensure calls are always responded to there will be a designated patrol unit for responding to calls, as well as designated units for responding to events and more serious incidents. Ultimately, I believe that the attitude and passion I present towards this role is greater than many others, with that in mind, amongst the other things I present here today, I believe that is a good enough reason to give me a shot at the leader position.
Issues in the LSPD I can fix (and how):
- High Command ignoring employee suggestions (I will personally respond to every single on individually and make sure HRs are doing the same if I am unable to)
- Officers ignoring civilian 911 calls all the time (I will set up a designated patrol division to combat the rise in 911 calls for civilians in need of help)
- Unprofessional uniform requirements (I will use all the facilities provided to make the most realistic uniform guidelines possible)
- Unprofessional custom modifications put on government vehicles (I will replace all the car wheels with their realistic counterparts - for example, steelies that most cop cars use in the real life LAPD)
- Unfair promotions and the lack thereof (I will ensure promotions are well logged, and also given out based on activity AND capability, so the best candidates for positions can be found more efficiently)
- Very few opportunities for officers (I will introduce completely new divisions that all Police Officer+ can join - like they would be able to in real life)
- Not enough bonuses (I will ensure that all officers are given an appropriate amount of bonuses under my personal watch)
- Slipping activity levels (I will give officers a reason to patrol instead of trying to brute force them, however, some requirements will still be in place)
Whilst these things aren't representative of all LSPD leader terms, many of these issues were discussed within the Los Santos Police Department and still do not seem to be fixed, or seem like they won't be fixed anytime soon.
[ROLEPLAY IN THE LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT]
Going back to my LSPD days, it seems that one of the main things that was lacking was the roleplay. Instead of going to solve issues between civilians or patrolling looking for crime, we were busy with events all the time and had no care in the world for anything roleplay related apart from small meetings and promotion ceremonies. For reasons such as this, I will ensure that there is an active stream of patrol units driving around the city in pairs of 2 or more to ensure that not only are they able to roleplay with seasoned community players by going around and showing police presence, but they are also able to be useful to newer players that want to learn about the server or need help reporting a crime. I have met players that didn't even know the LSPD existed (even when they weren't disbanded) at level 3! That just goes to show that the LSPD needs to show themselves off a bit more around high crime areas outside of the ghetto, so that is the main reason why I am going to be introducing a new patrol division focused on community relations, general patrol duties and call response.
A list of things I plan on doing upon becoming leader within the LSPD:
- Creating a feared and revered police agency all across the city (for example, if you were to call the police in the ghetto to report people camping the beach market exit, instead of being scared and simply ignoring your call, the police would respond with heavy backup, solve the problem and then leave the area to avoid causing any further issues)
- REINSTATING old and experienced LSPD members
- Finding a solution to the traffic problems (checkpoints, traffic sting operations, traffic focused division for government events etc)
- Fulfilling the expectations of the community at all times
- Improving response times and prioritising the calls of civilians
- Giving extra bonuses to exemplary officers under my personal watch
- Improving realism in all aspects of law enforcement within the LSPD to the best of our ability (whilst I can't ensure I will turn this into a triple A police simulator, I will try my best - along with a couple of experienced members - to precede the expectations of the community and provide a great experience for as many people as possible)
New divisions I plan on adding:
- Gangs And Narcotics Division (will have specialised uniforms and access to the few civilian/undercover cars we have)
[real life example]:
- S.W.A.T (will be similar to SRT but focused on an elite response to events, barricaded suspects, hostage situations and high levels of training provided by the LSPD)
[real life example]:
- Traffic Division(this division will be focused on doing checkpoints, speed traps, traffic stops and taking charge of pursuits whenever necessary)
[real life example]:
- Vespucci Beach Detail (this branch will be doing marches and community events at the beach market to hopefully entice some new recruits to the LSPD)
[real life example]:
- Revised K9 Unit with more of a purpose (this division will handle foot chases, searches and more in this new revision)
[real life example]:
Note: all unmentioned divisions will be included later or are very similar to how they have been in every other term (e.g. aviation division)
[CLOSING MESSAGE]:
I hope I have been able to shine some light into the possibilities that exist within my leadership of the LSPD, and I am ecstatic to see the future that the LSPD holds. Thank you all for reading, and goodbye.
