I'd had zero warning for this ban, as there's nothing posted in the forums nor anywhere else that points to the cause for this action. I am simply banned for 7 days for a 6.10 breach, leaving me with just educated guesses as to what caused it.
The only thing I can think of is my having attended a meeting with my higher-up at LSPD and Sheriff McGavin regarding situations I had run into with McGavin's Captain and other officers. Near the end of that meeting, held in one of SAHP's discord vcs, my twitch stream's chat had become inundated by abusive, toxic commentary made by various people, some identifiable as they used the same name in twitch as they do in the city (Chicky Opps, specifically) and at least one possible SAHP officer who'd been involved in the incident(s) as the insults they used were the same exact ones they'd given me, in the city (I don't have solid proof for this, however). I've been stream-sniped numerous times, some I've been able to report as I had proof, some not, and to say I was creeped-out and distressed over players taking things to that level is an understatement. As it was in direct response to what was going on right at that very moment and tied to the incidents that brought us there, I first gave VERY heavy warnings to the others in the vc that I had to bring up very OOC matters right then and told them what was happening. I can provide that footage from my bodycam if needed, but again, I have ZERO INDICATION that this IS, in fact, what caused my ban.
When your server allows and hosts these players who make extreme breaches of trust and server rules, using an OOC platform I HAVE to use as bodycam (my computer cannot/will not allow recording of long videos without crashing and causing the videos to be unplayable/corrupted), holding ME responsible for MY understandable (and heavily warned) actions and reactions is disgusting. My streams garner an average of 3-5 viewers, 6 if I'm Vegas-odds lucky; yesterday's somehow brought in 15 all at once. I refuse to see that as a coincidence, despite not having irrefutable proof. If I am not allowed to play this game as intended, where I don't have to deal with getting dogpiled by the people I have to "live with" in the city, AND I get punished for bringing it up to others when it *directly relates* to the current situation, then I have no reason to stay here.
I have been on this server for almost exactly one year, and have never, not once, been banned. I've been in in-city jail and god-jail twice apiece, all of which I owned and served without complaint. This is my first ever reporting in this section for administrative actions taken against me. I've served in EMS as a Labtech for about two months, two terms in government under both the Baracus and Vinegar administrations and been in LSPD under 3 different chiefs. Not a single report against me exists during those times but one, which was rejected as baseless/revenge-reporting at its finest. This sudden ousting, somehow rated on the extreme of the punishment spectrum (the range for a 6.10 is 1-7 days) has me seriously doubting on staying around with or without its being appealed successfully, especially when I'm given absolutely no warning nor the ability to refute the complaint as I don't know exactly what it IS besides my "best guess".
Whatever the outcome is, one cannot claim I have been anything but flawed yet honest and given an immeasurable amount of time and love to what I've done in this city. Most of anything negative that I've been involved with/contributed to over that time was over matters brought to me, not problems originating FROM me. Whatever else I have that could be considered problematic has either been in the "oops" category, and/or things I owned up to and didn't whine and complain about when I had to swallow my lumps. I'm just disgusted and dismayed at this point, along with others (at least one person I know made their leave last night over this). But I can't force decisions made, I only have my own to make. With all due respect, this entire situation has pretty much convinced me that this isn't going to get any better, and the server will continue to allow trolls and their toxicity to thrive so long as some benefit to the place can be garnered from it.
