1. Why do you want to become an admin?
I had a very difficult time finding a server that would be perfect for me until I found this server. Literally, everything about the server is perfect for me. I want to be an admin because I genuinely love the server and the community so much and I want to use my free time helping out and giving back. I also want to help to ensure this server continues to be a friendly, welcoming place for players, where people can come to relax after a long day at work, or just a safe haven for people to come and play and escape the real world for a bit. The admins have always been very helpful to me and I would love to be there to help other players to be able to enjoy the game to its full extent.
I have a real passion for RP and RP servers and I want to help to continue to make this server an amazing place for people to come to experience amazing RP. Whether that is by helping people to get better at RP, or stopping people from interfering with the RP, I think a role as an admin would be a great way for me to do that. I have a lot of experience on many RP servers and I think I can bring that to the team.
2. What are your strengths?
- I am very patient. I am a teacher irl, I teach in secondary school computer science and it takes a lot of patience to be able to ensure that every student understands the topics that I am teaching. I also have a lot of time to talk through things with people and ensure they understand things and I have been taught how to be a teacher, which allows me to adapt the way I teach for a wide range of audiences. I think that will be beneficial in my role as an admin.
- I am mature, I have a degree, a PGCE and a professional career and I think that level of professionalism is very important in a role as an admin.
- I am calm, which is shown in my career. I have to deal with a lot of difficult situations in my career and I will be able to use that in my role as an admin and stay calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
3. What are your greatest weaknesses?
- I can be very self-critical. In the teaching world, it is easy to see the things that went wrong with a lesson and it can be very difficult to praise myself for what I have done correctly. I think that this can improve over time and it is understandable to get things wrong. I need to ensure I do criticise myself, but also look at the things that I do right and celebrate those achievements as well.
4. Will you be ready to leave RP life to become an admin?
