I was at the beach market, I got shot at from unscripted GZ, and a shot back.
There was RP in that whole situation, so I do not understand, why cannot an LEO defend his and his colleagues lifes by shooting back. We had busts before at Beach market and people realized that we were LEOs. All they did was closed the shop, ran outside the GZ ( but stayed still in unscripted GZ ) and they shot back.

Since I was off duty, I didn't have my bodycam on. The protocol is this...
If you are off-duty, trained officer, it is your wish to intervene and help out people in need, specially my colleague that was getting shot at. So I decided to help out by shooting back. If you take a suspect down, you call for backup on your radio and call for a 4-door vehicle to fully arrest and process a suspect. Unfortunately no, I didn't have any bodycam on at that time.
