The 14k Triads look to recruit those who are driven by the taste of success and wealth. Giving opportunities to those who already reside in the city and those who have just stepped off the plane, to expand their knowledge on survival both financially and literally. Hosting events and supporting other ongoing events that can benefit the family are another way that 14k Triad strives to be the best. Being number one is not technically a priority to the family, it is more important to gain respect and help those with similar goals.
Family Backstory:
The 14k Triads are a generational family. They were first founded in Hong Kong in 1945 by Kot Siu-Wong after World War II. With years of running from the Chinese Commmunist Party, the original leader washed up on the shores of Los Santos. With the original leader instilling the mindset of chasing wealth and not greed, their followers grew wise with how to gain respect through the city.
The original leaders of the 14k Triads have since passed on to do their own things with new families. However, with the blessing of the past leaders, a new leader of the family has been chosen.
Skye Triad, one of the original members of the 14K Triad group, longed to revamp her long lost family. With the guidance of two of the founders, she took the mindset they had instilled and began her journey to bring the family back.
With years of training, Skye and her friends banded together to continue the legacy that had begun years ago. Their objectives still consist mainly of acquiring underworld businesses such as illegal gambling, money laundering, arms trafficking, and any vice activities that deemed them a fit flow of income. With a healthy source of income, it should be known that 14k Triads will not hesitate to eliminate any obstacles that may get in the way of their growth.
Already, the 14k Triads have obtained access into both legal organizations, illegal organizations, and the media. Whether it is bribery that got them this access or pure skill, the city may never know.
