Family History:

During the 300 years (600-900) Mercian Rule, the Mercian kingdom dominated southern England, annexing five of the other six kingdoms in the Heptarchy. King Offa's reign is known as the golden age of Mercia. "The Mercians were the most successful tribe of the Anglo-Saxons until the 9th century," wrote Nicholas Brooks. According to some historians, the area of England south of the Humber was united during the reign of Offa.
After this union, the family that continues its lineage to the present day is known as the love of power.
