Life Story:
Always a people pleaser, Ryan never turned a blind eye to help someone in need - until one day he saw his brother do the unthinkable...pretending to be an off-duty police officer... He had seen he would use his disguise to pressure debt payments and free food from poor small businesses. This outraged Ryan, after always being told by their father that the truth and support you give others, would reap eternal rewards; but to see Phil ripping off the poor Ryan knew change had to occur...
3 generations of law enforcement and growing up on the rough streets of Los Santos, he had seen firsthand the kind of crime and chaos that plagued the city. He knew he had to do something about it. It was this incident that drove Ryan to dedicate his life to upholding the law and bringing justice to the people - to one day put Phil back in his place and align him to the stiff arm of the law.

Slater worked hard to make his dream a reality, putting in long hours across SAHP, LSPD, and FIB and rising through the ranks in each to become one of the top LEO performers. His leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and unwavering sense of justice made him stand out from the rest which eventually lead to roles as Sheriff of SAHP and Chief of Police at LSPD.
Slater was relentless in his pursuit of justice. He had a zero-tolerance policy for crime and was known to dispense punishment on the spot, earning him both respect and fear from the citizens of Los Santos who felt he was sometimes a little too heavy-handed.
Despite the dangers of his job and the challenges he faced, he never wavered in his duty to serve and protect the people. He is a symbol of hope in a city plagued by violence and crime, and his unwavering commitment to justice inspired others to follow in his footsteps, even if it means bending the odd law or two to achieve it...

1. Ryan's pursuit for the truth will drive him to use any means necessary to obtain information - can use truth serum, or break bones of suspects to gain evidence (by using /try, 2 times per situation)
2. Ryan doesn't always trust other LEO organizations - can detain (up to 25 min), torture, interrogate, and/or kill any state employee (incl. lawyers) where RP exists
