S.W.A.T Department uses Special Weapons And Tactics to ensure the safety of residents of Los Santos and the whole San-Andreas. S.W.A.T Teams are composed of highly trained and experienced officers who are always ready to respond to dangerous situations.

S.W.A.T Department is divided into 2 Divisions:​

• The Major Crimes Division is responsible for resolving crimes that involve organized groups of criminals, responding to the most dangerous situations, tracking and arresting the most wanted criminals.

• The drugs and Narcotics Division is responsible for keeping illegal substances off the streets by locating and eradicating drugs, and tracking and arresting criminals wanted for drug-related crimes.

The Patrol Operations department of the San Andreas Highway Patrol is responsible for maintaining law and order on the highways and roads of San Andreas. This department is responsible for responding to emergency situations, enforcing traffic laws, and preventing crime. The officers in this department patrol the roads in patrol vehicles and use various tools, such as radar, to monitor traffic and enforce the law.

Patrol Operations is divided into 4 Divisions:​

• The High-Speed Interception Division of Patrol Operations is responsible for pursuing and stopping vehicles that are driving at excessive speeds. The Office of the Sheriff is responsible for internal affairs and public relations within the SAHP.
