What is the grand point that comes when you level up? Where is it used?

These points are used to open crates containing clothing, cars and shoes through an in-game shop and due to rockstar's new policy, they have been temporarily removed until further notice from Grand RP developers

You wont recieve any Grandpoints as long as you have an unpaid fine
