Shantanu was born in the dangerous areas of Grove Streets in Los Santos. Shantanu has been in criminal activities since he grew up. He had a wife named Kai North and two children Kakashi and Joker. Shantanu joined EMS to fulfill the needs of his children Due to various differences, both Kai and Shantanu had to part ways. . But due to financial issues, he is unable to look after the needs of his children.

Till the time he became a man, he became one of the most notorious criminals in Los Santos. Shantanu led many gangs as Deputy and Under Deputy in various criminal activities, such as store robberies and taking hostages. But since he got married to Kai he left his criminal background to settle down a life as a doctor. Shantanu worked hard in EMS to give a good life to his family.
