Hello,
I wish for Alex Odd to review this appeal
I reached out to Jefe Dejefes and he was kind enough clear things up for me.
I told him what the situation was as I suspected that the reason why I got banned was because my brother wanted to try out GRP however,
my brother doesn't have a PC and so before all this happened I had reached out to Alex Odd and asked him if it was okay for my brother to play from my PC if he was playing from a different rockstar/gta account. I appreciate Alex giving me a quick and simple reply which confirmed that everything will be fine as long as each of us plays from his own account. After the confirmation I went ahead and bought a new GTA ( which is on a different platform called "Rockstar launcher" ). Please keep in mind that my account is on steam. So after I downloaded the new GTA on my PC, I let my brother make his account and start his journey on GRP. However a few hours after he was done playing. I got back on and joined on my account. I am also aware that in order for us to not get in trouble I know that we have to switch between Rockstar accounts in order to avoid a ban of this sort. I made sure to double check before I even connected to the server that the Rockstar account was changed ( I also have to change the installation folder for GTA in order for the Rockstar account to change). After I joined the server I was playing for some time and then received the ban for "GR 1.1 by Jefe Dejefes". Confused why I got banned but like I said, I reached out to Jefe and he did clear a few things to me. One of us could have forgotten to change the installation folder which lead to the Rockstar account being the same which caused the ban. I am still unsure how all of this happened however It is possible that it could be a mistake from our end which I am terribly sorry for and I will make sure we triple check so we dont repeat it again!
I know very well that a ban will not be given without a reason so I respect the action taken by him. So please let me know if anyone would like additional information but this is pretty much my side regarding this appeal.
Nothing but respect for Jefe and I completely understand why he took this action.
