i was at a special operation as an SAHP officer ( gang raid on families )
and i found them sitting beside the road as i know them from the past i was at families twice and some of them used to be my old family members i waved my hands to them and i sit beside them , i don't think that's provoking i was friendly and kind i just wanted to have a conversation and Mr Tim sent me to demorgan as provoking for 120mins :")

Your punishment is correct.

As an LEO you should not just sit on the edge of the event zone and waving at the gang member, you can go around, securing the place, ask them to leave etc.,​
