I am writing to appeal my recent ban from the event due to my violation of event rule - rule 1.7
I acknowledge that I did not comply with this rule and understand that it was a mistake on my part. However, I would like to explain the circumstances surrounding my violation of this rule and request that my ban be lifted.
Firstly, I was not aware of rule 1.7 prior to the event. I was not properly informed of this rule and I apologize for not taking the time to read through the event rules thoroughly. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am familiar with all the rules and regulations of the event, and I will take steps to ensure that I am better prepared in the future.
Secondly, this was my first time participating in this event and I was not familiar with the requirements for recording POV. As a new participant, I was not sure how to go about recording and holding the POV within the given time frame. I now understand the importance of complying with this rule and I assure you that I will not make the same mistake again.
Finally, I request that my ban be lifted. I understand the seriousness of the rule violation and I assure you that it will not happen again. I am willing to comply with all the rules and regulations of the event going forward.
