EMS
The event scenario:
In this event the organization members will get a chance to see what it is like to be a First responder. The participants will be in the role of EMS, racing as fast as possible with ambulances through tricky terrain to find the Deputy Chief of EMS who has collapsed on the floor and needs urgent medical attention. They will not get the exact location of the patient but will be provided with a hint and they will have to find their own way there. There is however a twist - the ambulance unfortunately came completely unequipped, so they have to first go collect a med kit, so they can help the Deputy. The location of the place where the med kits will be provided will also be communicated in the form of a hint.
Why this event:
I think players generally really like races, but we wanted to stay on theme with EMS, and make it a bit more interesting than just a basic race. So, in this case they will get to see how it is to drive ambulances, use their brains and city knowledge to figure out the hints, and still get the thrill of racing.
Role of Each Organization involved:
Every participant will get their own ambulance. They need to first figure out the location of the med kit. Two EMS members will be waiting at the location and will pass a med kit to each participant that finds them. When the players collect the med kit, the EMS employee will also pass them a picture of the location where the chief has collapsed. They have to then get to the location and pass the med kit to the Deputy.
Other organizations involved:
All organizations are invited.
Vehicles/weapons needed:
Ambulances for the participants.
Admin Requirements:
Spawn players at the starting location (SAHP), spawn the ambulances, provide the first hint.
Rules of the event:
- It is mandatory to collect the med kit first. You cannot skip that step and go directly to the patient with your own medkit.
- No car ramming or pushing each other off the road
- appropriate behavior
How is the event won?
First three players that pass a med kit to the patient will win.
Prize for the winner:
1st place: 200.000$
2nd place: 150.000$
3rd place: 100.000$
