I got punishment for GR 6.23 by Jay Verlice from the tread - Approved - Bug Abuse | 29372
Now I want to point out some key facts about that situation for which I got ban for 5 days.
First, as you know we can not press G and open interaction/offer menu on somebody who is sitting in a car, it is impossible, the game script wont let you do so. But in that POV I collected his debt which means I did press G on him and I collected the debt using offer menu. I said the same thing replying to that thread that in my screen I saw him out of his car (no animation) and then only I pressed G on him and next second he again got into (no animation) his car, then I collected his debt while he was in the car.
I thought he just went out and again went in his car just to humiliate me. I did not see any animation of him getting out/in his car just because sometimes it happens when the animation does not show up , it just directly put you in and out of your car once you press F , it happened many times to me and other players if you ask them, thats why I didnt care much about it. But when I watched his POV I realized that was not the case, he was in his car the whole time. I never ever imagined that it was a bug , If I had, I would not have collected the debt.
I admit ,I knew that collecting debt from somebody sitting in his car is PG and still doing it with having the knowledge of it, is unforgivable but there was no way for me to know that he did not get off/in his car by himself and that was a bug.
Therefore I request you to reconsider the situation from my perspective and the facts I mentioned. Apart from it, you can see I maintained the other RP aspects in that situation, just like I always do.
Once Again, I admit I did collect his debt while he was in car which is PG just because of his rude behaviour and I am ready to get punishment for it. But not for Bug Abuse!
