Hi all,
I am making an appeal over a unofficial family warning given to Topshelf on 6/23 by Ani Pluxury via the following thread:
Shabbir Hossain gave the following warning "Vagos will receive punishment for 4 Gang Member Breaking a Rule" but no warning was given to Top shelf within the thread.
I am providing a break down with 3 main reasons as to why this specific situation should not be a family warning. As the people in the clip were acting as Vagos members, I will refer to them as "Vagos members" below.
1. From watching the POV, I dont see how this is considered robbing in the city as I did not see a robbery take place. The only demand the vagos gang members gave was "put your hands up". There was no indication that they were going to rob him. They may have been ready to ask him to take 3 steps into the ghetto (ghetto was 3 steps away) after he put his hands up to THEN possibly execute a robbery OR maybe they were going to ask him to get into the trunk as a normal RP demand for hostage situation, etc. There is no actual search or "robbery function" being used from the gang functions by the vagos members during this interaction. As such, it is false to assume a robbery situation and give a rule break for "robbing in the city". I would agree that its a robbery if someone said "we are robbing you" or "give us your guns and money" - none of this was stated by the Vagos members.

2. These 5 vagos members were ACTING as vagos members, wearing all yellow, having yellow gang cars. There was no Top Shelf clothes being worn, no top shelf cars in the area. There was even a vagos member not in top shelf present. The Top Shelf family and Top Shelf leadership does not have influence over how the Vagos gang and their leadership run their gang. I, as a family leader, can't order family member's to stop doing gang activities or stop doing gang robberies as that is a completely separate jurisdiction. Based off of this action, i can technically put Top Shelf family operations on full freeze (no events allowed, no robbing allowed as a family) but they can STILL go do gang activities like this and get a warning for my family that is on complete freeze on family operations. It would not make any sense if i put the entire family on freeze but people doing who are still allowed to participate in gang activities can still get us family warnings while representing a gang not related to Top Shelf. This does not make any sense in my opinion.
3. The family warning should only exist for people acting in representation of a unofficial org family, with family cars and family outfits involved in the interaction (or in/outside family events). If we break rules as a family using unofficial org functions, it should be a warning. If we, hypothetically, were not an unofficial family, this exact scenario can still take place as its gang organization, with gang functions. As such, giving a warning does not make sense as I have no control or influence on how a gang operates within the ghetto AND it could still happen even if top shelf was not unofficial org status. I only have influence on how my unofficial family members operates in the ghetto using family cars and outfits.
I hope this clarifies why I struggle with this warning and I hope this example can be used for future scenarios. Because I can't tell people to leave a gang they are in (as i have no influence on gang organizations), I had to remove these people from the family for this warning that I believe is incorrect.
