Today I was banned for illegal redux. I know that some kind of reduxes are legal and some are not. Since I have a poor PC setup, I need a redux mostly because of FPS boost and defenetly not for the taking advantage over other players. So I instal some of the most popular reduxes, which is well known as a perfect FPS boost decision. I perfectly know that all kind of weather changing and disabling drug effects are prohibitted (and none of it in the redux were included).
But I would never in a million years have guessed that it is illegal to have no death effect. I mean... what kind of advantage do I get if after knock-out I have a color screen instead of black and white. How can this even be figured out by my own efforts? It's not written in rule 4.1, however this is a very important detail, since you can get a 60-day ban for it.
Dear Luke and the project administration, I apologize for this unintentional mistake and please take into consideration that by my actions I did absolutely no harm to anyone, although I admit that this is not an excuse for illegal redux. Lesson learned. And as proof of my regrets I attach a video of me getting rid of this redux completely!
