Beginner questions

Hi!

Trying to figure out how Character leveling works in this game.

I'm talking about the general character level visible under M > Statistics, not the specific character skills.
Example - 1 (x/4), 2 (x/8), 3 (x/12)

How often do you gain experience or is it caused by some actions?

Second question - how often do you get paid when working as a Cab driver / Deliverer? What if I exit the game before getting paid?

1. Question Answer:
You get an "experience point" each full hour, meaning you recieve one at 4pm for example and one at 3pm etc etc. Each level you will require more points to reach the next level. I am not sure however if its always just exactly twice the points from the previous level. I hope this answers your question

2. Question Answer:
If you work as a cab driver. You recieve each mile you drive a client around the money you set as the mile price via the "J" Menu.
If you work as something like a deliverer or most of the other sidejobs you get paid once you complete a delivery.
Thats how it is on my server, I am not sure about the diffrences between the english and german servers, however, I hope I could still help you.
