Hello!

This post is in regards to a complaint about our first warning since the start of this Government's term issued by Alex Odd on February 4th, 2022.

The warning was due to "playing music in DOC by various org members". After further bodycam footage review, we were able to see a prisoner, who has been a nuisance to our government since its beginning, was playing guitar and was then muted. This was followed by a DOC officer then playing the guitar, and immediately putting it away after strumming it once and noticing his mistake.

The moment the DOC officer did this he was given a warning, and Gov was given a strike for various org members doing this when in reality it was one who immediately realized the mistake he made.

The officer has actually appealed his warning in this thread and was approved. You may see this information within the proofs.
I have also provided the link to the bodycam footage of the officer who performed the act.

We have also been told previously it is completely up to our internal charter on how our officers should act and run DOC as long as we RP with them. Anytime we are told by state or gov curators about how we should be RPing with citizens, whether it is DOC officers, secretaries, DOJ etc, we always immediately make the required adjustments in order to make sure we are following the rules how the curators best see fit. Since there is no rule against allowing DOC officers to entertain prisoners, and we have never been told this is not allowed, it may create a bit of a grey area that may have been confusing for the officer. I understand music is not allowed in a Green zone, however, I was unaware this also included the guitar or any other instrument emote.

I believe since: it was only one officer who did this, he immediately attempted to correct the situation after strumming it once and hearing how loud the guitar was, and the fact there is currently no rule or regulation against allowing DOC officers to entertain and RP with prisoners, we should have this warning appealed.

There are only 7 days left of the government, and I have done my best in order to ensure this government goes the entire 2 terms with no warnings as it's been my goal from first taking office.

My officers and agents all work so hard for the government, and I feel one honest mistake by one officer should not punish the entire organization by being given a warning.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you reconsider the warning!
