Dear Bobby,

I would like to address the recent incident involving SAHP (San Andreas Highway Patrol) and the allegations of Corruption and Fail-RP, as reported in this forum thread: Link to Forum Thread.

Firstly, I want to clarify that I am uncertain about the validity of the Fail-RP and Corruption claims, primarily because there was a legitimate reason for our presence at the scene. We received a call reporting theft, and upon arriving, we were informed of a potential threat against our family members. Individuals at the scene had reportedly threatened to attack them, necessitating our response. As a result, we remained in the area for a brief period, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.

During our presence, a helicopter arrived, attempting to engage us from an inaccessible rooftop. I immediately contacted an admin for assistance, and it appears that a warning was issued, advising against landing and shooting from the helicopter. Consequently, instead of adhering to this warning, the individuals involved resorted to RDM (Random Deathmatch) by opening fire on Saan Mandem without a proper demand.

Now, I want to emphasize that I fail to see how this situation constitutes Fail-RP, given that our presence at the scene is supported by the in-game legislations. The relevant legislations state:

2.10.6 Robbery: Taking property unlawfully from a person or place by force or threat. This is categorized as a Class B felony with no right to bail and entails a monetary penalty of thirty-six thousand dollars ($36,000).

OR

2.10.3 Theft of property: Taking property belonging to another without that person's consent, through means that do not cause bodily harm. This is categorized as a Class C felony and entails a monetary penalty of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000).
Hence, we had justifiable grounds to be present and potentially arrest individuals based on these legislations.

Regarding the accusation of Corruption, I find it unfounded as well. The individuals present at the scene were instructed not to open fire, and only Max Mandem, who I understand to be an FIB agent, and Mark Thursh, a government employee, refrained from shooting. Karma Verlice, a SAHP member, also did not fire their weapon. The only person who was not affiliated with a state organization and did use a firearm was Saan Mandem, to whom I immediately communicated that such actions were not permissible. In essence, there was no evidence of Corruption during this incident.

To support my perspective, I have provided my point-of-view video here: POV Video. Additionally, John Spectre had requested my POV before ID 661 created the forum post.

I would also like to note that the forum post's title did not adhere to the standard format. While I don't want to interfere in forum-related matters, it's worth mentioning that Magnes still considered the report.

Furthermore, there was a mention of a broader issue involving the Bright Family, who have apparently been involved in multiple rule violations within a short timeframe, resulting in warnings based on Event Rule 1.3.

I acknowledge that I engaged in meta-gaming within my POV, and I accept any potential punishment for that. However, I firmly believe that SAHP should not receive any warnings in this situation because all actions were carried out in accordance with the city's rules and legislations.

I hope you will take these points into consideration, and I apologize if any part of my response appears misguided.

Sincerely,

Shabah Verlice.

I also want to highlight that Alan Sam made the right decision, and I believe he shouldn't receive a warning, even though this matter may not directly involve me. I don't want to interfere unnecessarily, but I wanted to clarify this point.

Furthermore, from an in-character perspective (ICly), we are not aware of Saan Mandem having an unofficial organization, and there is no mention of unofficial organizations in the legislations. Additionally, "unofficial" is merely a term used to describe certain functionalities granted to specific families through their applications.
