I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Akali Pierce and Josh Kiri, who are administrators on the Grand RP server. My complaint pertains to their actions in the recent Life Invader Leader applications and subsequent interview process. I believe their conduct raises serious concerns about fairness, transparency, and integrity within the community.
On September 18th, I observed that the Life Invader Leader applications were open for submission on the Grand RP server. Immediately, I prepared my application and submitted it. Subsequently, on September 22nd, Akali Pierce announced the selection of four individuals, including myself, for an interview. The interview was scheduled for September 24th, 2023, at 14:00 server time.
However, on the day of the interview, Akali Pierce posted an update indicating that the interview had been rescheduled to the following Monday, again at the same time. To my dismay, without any explanation or prior notice, this update was later deleted from the forums. It appears that they were attempting to manipulate the situation to their advantage. Josh Kiri, a former Life Invader Leader, is also implicated in these actions, suggesting a possible collusion.
One additional point I would like to raise is the apparent inconsistency in the selection process. If I made any mistakes or had any shortcomings in my application, it is puzzling why Akali Pierce chose to consider me for the interview while not extending the same consideration to Josh Kiri. Fairness should be applied consistently to all applicants, and the reasons for selection or rejection should be clearly communicated.
I wish to emphasize that my intention in raising this complaint is to ensure that such unethical conduct is not repeated within the community. Fairness, transparency, and integrity are essential values in any server, and when administrators engage in actions that compromise these principles, it undermines the trust and integrity of the entire community.
I kindly request that the higher admins thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address any misconduct or wrongdoing. The community deserves to have confidence in the impartiality and fairness of its administrators.
