FIB did not shoot first. Our actions were not conducive of not valuing the hostages life. What we did is different that what we or my agents may of said. We went to the back of the store to try and take a 10-15 in custody and then shots were fired by LSPD. They gave no demand for us not to go behind the store so therefore did not violate their terms. I am requesting the POV be re evaluated please as I am confident we followed the rules.
This brings out another point that currently the rules regarding hostage situations do not allow for good RP. LEOs have no ability to provide good RP as we will always be accused of not valuing the hostages life. In real life situations LEOs can take risks to secure the hostages but in GRP with the current rules it is impossible for us to do so. Gangs and families know this and therefore rule play rather than RP. They do this knowing they can farm us for money rather than to have fun or RP with legal orgs.
In this specific situation I argue that we as FIB didn't break any rules as we went to take a 10-15 in custody and shots were fired so we had no ability to negotiate for a swap of their 10-15 for a hostage. They didn't give demands for us not to be snooping around the store therefore how were we supposed to know they would kill the hostage if we went behind the store.
