Ground zero for a terrible outbreak was the once immaculate halls of a prominent medical laboratory located in the huge city of Los Santos, a busy metropolis on the verge of disaster. An error had occurred in a classified experiment, releasing a virus that transformed gullible citizens into mindless, ferocious zombies Panic struck the city as word of the outbreak spread like wildfire. The local police force was overwhelmed by the amount of infected people on the streets and also outgunned. A group of medical professionals in the besieged medlab labored frantically to create a vaccine that could stop the virus's spread while the city sank into chaos A talented virologist oversaw the group of committed scientists. Every day they fought not just against death but also against the hordes that were closing in on their walled city. The formerly immaculate medlab had become a ramshackle stronghold with windows barred and homemade weaponry strewn all about The doctors and surviving police officers were compelled to use non-traditional methods of defense due to a lack of ammo and weaponry. These go-to weapons were baseball bats, modified surgical tools, and even poisonous mixtures. In addition to the infected, the survivors had to contend with desperate gangs fighting for supremacy in the chaotic streets The crew made the bold decision to launch a daring raid into the city center as a last-ditch effort, believing that a supposed stash of military-grade supplies would be the key to winning the day. The fate of Los Santos lay on their shoulders, but the voyage was dangerous because there were hostile factions and infected people everywhere they looked The survivors held onto the notion that their improvised weapons and willpower would be sufficient to see them through as they walked out into the pandemic-ravaged cityscape.
