The suspect tried VDM'ing me so I started a recording and honked at them as a "STOP!" but they still continued to and when i tried juking them, they cornered me and started shooting. I tried escaping and they continued to do so which didn't left me any choices so I tried VDM'ing them to get enough time which worked.
