The Venice 13, also known as Venice X3, street gang was formed in the early 1960’s. Mexican immigrants made the move to Venice Beach, Los Santos. Once they made it to Venice, they found their family in the Venice 13 street gang. In the 60’s the Venice area was known as the “Ghetto By The Sea”. Life was rough in the area and people barely made it by. Due to severe poverty, members of the Venice 13 committed crimes such as robbery and extortion so they could support their own families.
Transfer of Power
The Venice X3 street gang had become an army. With more and more wanting to join to feel a sense of family the Venice X3 street gang had tripled in size. They increased their operations and expanded their territories. This had caused a lot of fighting with neighboring gangs but nothing matched the strength of Venice X3. Not only were the neighboring gangs at war with Venice X3 but the feds were too. They had noticed that the Venice X3 street gang had been recruiting and had become a massive threat to civilians. Kidnappings were happening in broad daylight, gunshots rang throughout the night, and many woke up to dead bodies in the streets. The FIB then took action and arrested the leader. Without any structure, Venice X3 had become weakened. That all changed when Johnny MacFadden took control. He trained each member personally and made them all sharpshooters. They moved tactically and were more organized than the feds themselves. Venice X3 had become a force to be reckoned with.
Life in Los Santos
Johnny MacFadden had big plans for the Venice X3 gang. He wanted all his members to prosper as he too had grown up in the “ghetto by the sea”. His drive for success and goal to the riches is what convinced him to move operations to Los Santos. He felt that the economy was much richer there and he would be able to create an empire for his people. Slowly but surely, the Venice X3 gang dispersed throughout the major gangs such as the Families, Ballas, Los Santos Vagos, and Bloods. Like a virus, they plagued the city committing crimes such as theft, extortion, murder, and heists. As they make their mark on Los Santos, Venice X3 heavily diss any opposition and will do anything they need to stay on top.
